AsaVea Teeth Whitening Pens
My latest obsession: AsaVea Teeth Whitening Pens. I consider myself lucky…I have naturally nice teeth. I didn’t need braces or a retainer or anything – they somehow just straightened out with time. They are also naturally white – nothing glaring, but white, nonetheless. But I’m human. I drink coffee…and wine…and over time, they stain. I’m not opposed to bleaching them (see below), but after about a year, they start to dull.
Bleaching — it’s expensive
I’m allergic to the foaming agent in many toothpastes – it causes canker sores – so I can’t just use whitening toothpaste daily to keep ‘em clean. Instead, I have to bleach my teeth. It works — but it’s expensive. I used a custom bleaching tray from my dentist for many years. But the cost adds up when a syringe (two bleaching sessions) costs a minimum of $100/syringe.
A product that works
One day when I was poking around online, I discovered AsaWea Teeth Whitening Pens on a Buzzfeed list. I can’t remember the exact headline…something like “25 products on Amazon that actually work” or “Products on Amazon that customers swear by.” Regardless of the name, it caught my attention and led to a very important discovery. Not only are these pens affordable ($19.99 for a pack of two pens that last about 10 uses each), but they work as good as the bleach I’d get from my dentist at a fraction of the price.

I have to tell everyone I know about AsaVea. This stuff works! At first, I was a little skeptical, but with over 7K reviews, I thought it was worth a try. I’m SO glad I did. After just one use, my teeth are even-toned, and a couple of shades lighter. Don’t worry — they’re not blindingly bright —— they still look natural. With that said, if I had a choice, I’d shoot for having BRIGHT white teeth. Not quite glow in the dark, but bright enough to cause a little camera glare. I think I’m about four uses away from that…I wish I took a before and after of my first whitening though, because the difference is jaw dropping. I included some photos of other users who had similar results.
